The intricacies of fungi and their wonderous capabilities is the inspiration for Fungi. The delicate nature of their forms housing their potential potency, with ruffled gills tucked under hats and little stairs attached to bark.

Their impermanence appeals to me with the reminder of our own life cycles. Fungi series is a collection emphasizing the delicate beauty of these organisms and their powerful relationship with humans.

To pay homage, I indulge in the fantasy of human and fungal interactions with scale. I invite you to this tiny fantastical paper world built from layered pages and tiny cuts. These individual images have a collective plea to be contemplated for its complexities and admired in its simplicity.
